No. You are being fooled. Yes, I know that you think phone line is not being shared. An easy way to help yourself understand is to use your office network as an example - can you steal other user's data at the physical level of the wire? There is an article talked about three area people being fooled by the anti-cable camp. I couldn't find it, but basically. They are:

1. DSL is more secured.
2. DSL is faster.
(Both to make you think phone lines is not shared for data.)
3. @home has to bundle Excite service. (Oh, AOL is so good at this one.)
