Thanks Dave.. I'm surprised Mainframe didn't announce it anywhere.

for all others, here is the news :

Direct-to-Video

These are but a few of the Harvey characters whose
exploits will be seen on the big screen in the years to come:

Harvey is planning an active slate of direct-to-video productions,
the first of which is A Casper Christmas special targeted for Christmas
2000. Harvey intends to finance and produce up to four productions per
year, both animated and live-action, based on existing Harvey characters,
such as Casper, Richie Rich, Wendy the Good Witch and others.

The first two titles to hit the video marketplace are the classic Harveytoons,
To Boo or Not to Boo, which will be released Halloween, 1999, and the Christmas title, A Merry Casper Christmas which will be released in November of 1999. Both videos will be released through Universal Home Video.

Harvey is currently is planning the production of Casper's A Merry Scary Christmas, a direct-to-video feature film produced by Harvey and Mainframe Entertainment, Inc. This is the first all CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) direct-to-video film based on the "Casper the Friendly Ghost" franchise. Production is set to begin in October of 1999 and the film is set to be released to the home video market for Christmas 2000. The previous Casper direct-to-video feature film sold more than 3 million units.
