Hi Doby,
Yes the Seahawks' "ground game sucks."

If they start spreading the field, that will change. It probably won't change before then. FB Reggie Brown has 8 carries this year. He should get more than that in a single game.

Let's not even get started on Ahman Green. Here's a guy with Galloway's speed who has sat the bench, even though Holmgren says every tuesday in the press conference that, "we might use him this next game." It's another one of those situations that the fans around here don't understand. Again, if the guy is fumbling in practice, why is he returning kickoffs in the games? Maybe Watters would get bent out of shape if he had to share the load.

As it is, Watters has a knack for turning 15-yarders into 3-yarders....

The Seahawks beat the Raiders because of crowd noise and perhaps a tad of "referee welfare." Have you factored in the crowd noise and possibly favorable refs in the Kingdome into your equation?

I think the crowd noise is the intangible that carries the day for the 'Hawks.

Flutie may be elusive, but I like the quickness of the 'Hawks front 7 to contain him. We're banged up at Safety with Daryl Williams and Merton Hanks hurt. Williams is questionable.. not sure about Hanks.

WR Jordan is still questionable with the hamstring, and he's the only other deep threat outside of Green.

Look for another 13-10 game... edge to the Seahawks. (do I say that every time they play in the dome? <g>)

FWIW
Andy
