Hi all,

So we are going to buy our largest competitor ISI. But why is everyone so positive about this deal, beside Prognosticator thinks we are paying too much?

I don't understand enough to figure out this deal. The clear benefit is that we are gaining market share. But pSOS and VxWorks are still two different OS. It is not a easy task for users to convert from pSOS to VxWorks. At the same time, I don't see WRS dropping pSOS any time soon.

So is WRS really gaining resource here?

Is this a desperate move to fend off others from buying ISI?

Isn't WRS better off buying a consulting firm?

Does ISI have some killer product that we don't know? (Sorry, the logic in the question is screwed.)

As P. has pointed out. We are paying a high price, because WIND is not a rich stock. But what are the benefits? I don't see much at this point. I hope everyone can give some great analysis on why this is a great, or not so great, buy.

Allan, if you are reading. Its time to give some inputs, because all of a sudden, the picture is not so clear anymore.

ChinaCat, you know enough about this business and company. I am looking at you to contribute to the discussion in a major way.

Thank you all.
