Although I realize that stock price is not a metric for GGing I'm going to use it anyway, just for fun.

In Oct of 1998 the ERP industry stock valuation crashed during the general market deep dip.

By comparing the Oct 1998 low to the Oct 1999 low I've developed some very quick and dirty #'s on how these stocks have recovered, in the past 12 months.

SAP 000%
PSFT - 33%
BAANF + 20%
MANU + 50%

ORCL +262% (281% to date)
ITWO +400% (560% to date)
SEBL +400% (475% to date)

These stocks are largely valued by the pro's on gap and cap, not hype or .com #'s.

There is a very big, very real GG going on here and it's racing towards the internet. EMC stated that only 10% of their sales last year were .com. But most of the other 90% of their customers, largely World 2000 firms, are gearing up for the net as soon as Y2K is behind them.

Who are the Pro's and the Russian Army resupplying?

Enjoy
Doug
