We connect to the Island Itch server from each of our two fully redundant bi-coastal geographically diverse server farms. The QFeed East farm (herndon) usually has a cleaner connection to Long Island, NY where the Island ECN is located and the QFeed West servers (mtnview) have in the past had trouble keeping a stable connection going. When we have had occasional disconnects from Island, it has usually been the mtnview farm. Today, however, we disconnected from Island at our herndon farm. We are in the process of securing better connections for these feeds to eliminate this problem, we intend. -- Gibbons Named after the Captain of the Central America whose gold-laden sidewheel steamer sank a couple of hundred miles off Cape Hatteras in 1857 with rich 49ers returning East with their booty.
