Confirmation of two rumors we have been following in the past week, as
Intel announced the release of 14 new Pentium III chips coming Monday,
and update the status of the i820 chipset.
Same story, new suitor, as Microsoft, AtHome, and AT&T are being linked
in rumors circulating the investment world. Since Microsoft already
has an investment in AT&T, this makes sense. The question is, would it
pass the regulators? Certainty that we'll see this in place, ever- 4
Industry sources are commenting that AMD's Athlon, though superior to
Intel's latest chip, will lose because motherboard manufacturer's are
unwilling to compromise their relationships with Intel. |
