You know there is a certain logic to that approach to voting if you think about it. It made only those who have something to protect and therefore could also lose it the ones who decided the political issues. Now all those with nothing can vote and it's gotten so they vote for anyone who promises to take what the "haves" have and give it to the "have nots". It's the socialism that has crept into the world during this century creeping into our constitution through the cracks that the founding fathers left there. It was not their intention that everyone vote. But now it is a reality. It's popular and most think it's the right thing to do, but the system is breaking down under the weight of it. They did write the voting laws but not strongly enough. Now another intention of theirs that has been under attack is the right to keep and bear arms. There is a tremendous push to disarm the people but unlike the voting laws the 2nd amendment has so far protected the right to own a gun, although that right is under relentless attack! They wrote that right more strongly. The constitution says that our inalienable rights are not limited to the bill of rights, but our rights get less and less all the time it seems to me. Dam politicians who were voted in by unlanded voters are the problem!!! I bet that really rubs any liberals here the wrong way!! LmAO!!
