Geoff--You have made several references this week to the demographics of those not in the cellular system. You seem to be equating rural = poor. I think this is not correct. I'd be interested to see some study of this, but my impression is that people in rural areas have the same kind of economic distribution as urban or suburban individuals. I.e., the majority are "poor", but there are areas of wealth, and individual homes that have enough money to be essentially indifferent to the cost of a service if it gives them added utility.

I've been investigating some of these issues the last two days, and will advise if I find anything more definite that "my feeling". :o)
