I just see it as good ole advertising. Using a new approach and new name, 'sponsorship'. Remember, as I understand it these programs will be directed at physicians as well, such as the 'e-dinners'. I doubt that the pharmaceuticals are looking to easily quantify what they get back from using MCNS, but rather the entire program across the board. Just my thoughts.
