To be perfectly honest...I've pretty much
soured on the trading thing--I really blew it
a couple weeks back. I'm just spreading out
what little cash I have left between some old
favorites and calling it a year. If we see a
really nasty corrections in the markets I'd
be back with bells on...but for now, I'm putting
a good lesson to work--diversify. I paid a heavy
price loading up all on one, then getting stopped
out--never again.

I put the wife back into a couple local microcap
biotechs which look cheap, TGEN and CTIC--even if
they don't pan out, she can go to the meetings
here in Seattle, could be fun for her.

If you see my previous message you'll see I got
back into GMGC--that was the one that got me started
trading--and mainly making a lot of money for etrade.
I re-established a small position in that one, it is
quite risky, but could get bought out. I like the
idea of voice over cable and all that goes with that.
AT&T, Excite and At Home seem to be all balled up on
this--heck, I don't even know the basics, but GMGC
has worked long and hard on this stuff, would be nice
to see them tap into the internet frenzy and see
their stock reverse course.

Valentis seems to be another player in the regulation
part of Gene (Protein) therapy, I don't have as much
of that as Ariad, but it looks awful cheap below $4.

CNSI and AXPH round out my biotech picks, buy them
and forget them.

That is my two cents. Of course, you get what you pay for.
Good luck Jon--and don't forget to shut of the PC from
time to time. I really don't think it is very healthy,
for either of us:-) In fact, let me go back to that
promise on the addict thread--logging off til after
Halloween! See you again next month.

Yeah, there are some lottery tickets in there, no doubt
about it. I might get into NBIX, HYSQ and GLGC someday
again...but not yet. ARIAW and KDUS are likely going to
zero...don't buy them, but maybe a miracle could save
me on the former...a whole mess of yeast might help
on the latter. Who can say...
logging off!
