cha2, Totally agreed there is a lot of noise on the company boards. What I'm talking about is very targeted approaches to individual posters who seem to have experience we lack or who have same kind of analytical mind set we're trying to develop. An example of a pretty good board in the ecommerce area is the Checkfree board. Yeah, they get silly every once in a while, but they REALLY understand the EBPP market. They are so active that for the last two years they held meetings in the real world that have been attended by the CEO of the company (of course it helps that a mutual fund manager that has a large stake in the company is a regular drop in; he hosted the first meeting).
