I don't have enough data to comment. I can say that I have never liked Berger. He is more responsible, IMO, for biotech's most embarrassing moments -- those ass'd with a molecule known as HA-1A -- than anyone else.

That sort of arrogance is rare. The guy played a large roll in taking Centocor down the drain, and the company was only able to recover when he and others left or were purged.

I don't agree with you that the recovery was masterful. I do agree that the sale of ARIA interests in the Genomics Center lends viability. However, the BOD is not doing its job if they leave Berger and LaMarche in their positions.
