It certainly will help. For one, company will not go public before the business is in much better shape. Can you define two small customers and 25 million as in good shape? Secondly, the underwriters have less incentive to push the price as high as possible if they know they need to wait a long time to unload the share. It is somewhat easy to keep the price high for 3-6 months through some kind of manipulation. It will be very difficult to do so for 2 years. Companies have to show that can survive and make a profit in 2 years. Empty promise alone will not cut it.
