They may do it to screw up the charts of novices who are using some free internet charting site. But if you are using Realtick or equivalent, its very easy to edit that 1,000 out. One more thing, it seems that if the 1,000 really is truely fake as oppossed to an error, then I recommend contacting the SEC at sec.gov
