Bill -- yes DNA would give the answer. Open the coffin and take a sample, and then take a DNA sample from one of deGuzman's children. Seems pretty straightforward. The editor of Media Indonesia was quite sure from his sources that the corpse wasn't deGuzman based on dental records, but DNA testing would put the icing on it. The corpse and deGuzman's children are both in the Philippines, so there would not seem to be anything stopping such testing. If there's an insurance policy on deGuzman's life, the insurance company may insist on DNA testing.
