Brian, unfortunately the scriptures you have quoted do not help me understand at all. It is amazing how two people can read the same words and understand them in such different ways.
Psalms 22:10-Unless this is quoted out of context, it says nothing about the sin of babes.
Psalms 58:3-"the wicked are estranged from the womb". You say ALL babes are called wicked from birth. It doesn't say that to me. I read that the wicked among the babes are estranged from the womb but not all babes are being called wicked. Some may carry guilt from the sins of their fathers.
Isaiah 49:5-says nothing about the sin of babes.
Romans 9:11 paraphrased, the children not yet born have done neither good nor evil. To do evil is to sin so, these words say that babes are born without sin. Was it not Abraham that said "Jacob have I loved, but Esau I have hated"? Did he not hate Esau from events that happened long after birth?
Since Abraham, Esau, and Jacob are from the Old Testament, it could be that they all carried the sin of Adam but, Jesus died on the cross to remove the sin of Adam so, that is a done deal, and no longer pertinent IMO. Jesus, in His human form, was a descendant of Adam, as are we all, but I do not believe that He was Adam, the last or otherwise, as you say.
IMO, you are always looking at the dark side of the words of the Bible. I choose not to do that, but to look at the joyous message of hope and salvation that is given in God's word.
To each is own.
