I note your mention of ATON, which I have been following; I recently made the judgement to buy RDWR at less than half ATON's price and it is doing quite well. I think RDWR combined with FFIV makes a nice play in the internet infrastructure field, and both are eating into Cisco's long lead. The problem today is that many IPOs are taking off like a scalded monkey, and many interesting companies have valuations much too rich for my blood. I am still following OMX and PTEK and hope to buy when they have hit rock-bottom, which shouldn't be long. Hope you had a good week.
