Hi cardcounter, Here are a couple more industry news sources: photonicsonline.com fiberopticsonline.com Unlike Jason, I do not feel that the future of Agilent is is ATE. Clearly the market senses, and the company will no doubt tout, that the R&D now ongoing in the optics arena will be the driver of future revenues of this company. I would think that in short order the market will view the competitors to be the likes of JDSU, SDLI, ETEK and the myriad of FO component start ups that are springing up overnight. I took a look at the DIGL site and the product line does look to be of excellent quality but of limited scope. I'm certain Agilent will be casting a wider net. Best, Ray
