Dear Zebity and Mr. Bryan,
Firstly I will disclose that I am the CFO of Barramundi Gold Ltd., and am responding to your recent messages in this and in my personal capacity as a shareholder in Barramundi also.
As stated in the recent Press Release by the Company, the suit lodged by Mr. Burban will be defended. The Board of Barramundi believes this is the most appropriate action to take on behalf of shareholders, and the Company is in the process of preparing it's defence to Mr. Burban's writ and claims. This action was initiated by Mr. Burban therefore the Company really has no choice but to defend the action if it believes it is unwarranted? To say that nothing is happening is therefore not totally correct, although I realise you are probably suggesting some settlement of the matter should occur?
To say that Barramundi no longer has access to "mining expertise" or similar words is also not correct. Ray Soper, who is referred to in one message as being no longer involved is in fact a Director of the Company Barramundi is in joint venture with on the Hunker Dome (Klondike) project. To the best of my knowledge (from a face to face contact last week) Ray totally supports the current Board and management and the agreement with Newmont. Scott Broughton similarly supports the current Board and management, and the agreement with Newmont, and remains a very strong supporter of the Company in Vancouver. In addition, Barramundi's internal geological team has remained intact apart from Mr. Burban, and through the Agreement with Newmont, the Longline Project has access to Newmont's resources and geological expertise also. The Project Geologist who has been responsible for the Longline Project since inception remains very willingly in the employ of the Company. With the Agreements entered into and hopefully to be entered into, all three of the Company's Projects will have new partners funding and overseeing the work performed in conjuction with the Barramundi staff assigned.
Please feel free to contact me should you wish to discuss the matters raised further.
