Why are insurance companies regulated by law? Could it be to maintain fairness and competiveness in the marketplace? What would happen if an insurance "cabal" attempted to limit the amount of insurance that was available in order to boost premium rates? Does Sherman Anti-Trust Act mean anything to you?
