You're absolutely right, the Republican party thinks the religious right are an embarrassment, like poorly reared country cousins without shoes, who don't know how to behave at a dinner party. But, their money is good, and their votes are good, so we pretend like we can stand them, and gag and laugh when their backs are turned.

I mean, can you honestly imagine not laughing behind your hand at JLA or Sidney or Neo or Michael M. or Michael C. at a respectable dinner party or fund-raising event? LOL! These guys are losers with a capital L! Those in the know would be making a dumb face behind their backs and the sign of an L on their foreheads!
