regine -
In case you didn't know, the "class" NEVER makes any money off of these shareholder lawsuits - in fact we lose if we are still holding, in the unlikely event that one of these ambulance-chaser lawsuits is successful.

A few years ago, I was one of a class in a successful suit against an energy company that blatantly pumped up their stock, insiders sold and left shareholders holders holding the bag. There were not that many shareholders. My personal loss was in six figures and represented 90% of my investment in the company.

The lawyers for the plaintiffs (i.e. they were representing "us") got $3.5M in legal fees for their efforts on our behalf. I got a check for $26.25, and I was one of the big winners. Not quite enough for a decent bottle of scotch.

Don't go out and buy a new house based on expectations from a lawsuit. You would make more money with less work spending a morning behind the counter at McDonalds...
