My take is is that the spinning off of Ventiv and Circle.com as a tracking stock are very good moves for investment purposes and for SNC. I haven't studied the financials personally but would assume that the talk about CIRCV losing money would be correct. These moves in my opinion give investors the opportunity to invest in pure plays while giving the spin-off shares to current stock holders as dividends. The spinning off of CIRCV will raise the bottom line for SNC and CIRCV will give investors the chance to invest in the future of internet advertising which will go through the roof in the future IMHO. Most internet companies are losing money currently but there will be those that rise above the others and those will be the ones with good management teams in place. I believe that SNC and CIRCV and VTIV all have good managment and will be among the winners. That is my take on the picture.

What will CIRCV open at and will where it go? Well obviously I am betting that it will go up. I saw a recommended internet company being toted that had losses of over $8/ share last year and is projected to have losses over $6/share this year and the recent stock price was $42. Where will CIRCV go? I have no idea. I have heard talk that it will open around $3 but we all should know next week for sure. Until then I simply wait.

One unrecognized advantage all of this will have is it should make life very difficult for the large short position in the stock.
