Nancy,
Yes, I do remember. :-)
LHSP bought fonx health care solutions group, that is Articulate Systems. yes. But do you remember that ASI/Powerscribe was bought itself from fonx? Iïm remembering that the buying price that fonx paid for didnït differ that much from what LHSP paid for it. I lack the time and nerves to find out the actual numbers, because like always in the original acquisition news releases, the incapable and fraud loving fonx management tried to hide the buying price from its shareholders...btw differently from what a serious company like LHSP always does with acquisitions. >> fonix corporation (Nasdaq: FONX - news) announced today it has signed a binding Letter of Intent to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Articulate Systems, Inc. for a combination of cash and stock. Financial terms were not disclosed pending completion of a definitive agreement, anticipated in July.<<
Did fonx made a gain on this? no answer .LOL. Did the shareholders profit from that? Definately not. Because you canït just look at the final buying price. Fonx management fools could buy ASI only through starting the crazy death spiral financing. Thatïs why this price sunk to where its trading, thatïs why the price isnt recovering even under the last days monster trading volume. So the price that fonx shareholder paid and still pay was far too high. Could you agree? ï If this stupid management hadnït bought this ASI from Dragon Systems, and instead tried to work on their own famous speech tech, you might have just 100mio shares instead of 200mio applied for.
So ASI was definate NO fonx technology, it used Dragons engine, and LHSP bought this perhaps mainly to get their custumers out quick, knowing that fonx gave up an important possible revenue strem, if ASI would be used under a capable managment like LHSPïs.
So guess whose shareholders in the end paid more <<big bucks for that>>????
