"Our guidance remains exactly the same," said Cisco spokesman Doug Wills, declining to comment further. Read what the csco spokesman said carefully. They did not denie the shortfall rumor. They said that their guidance remained the same. That is different. If they are going to miss by only a penny or two they may not feel like they need to change guidance. There is also the possiblity that they will warn for the next quarter as IBM did.
