Finally finished reading all the posts, and cited links, on this excellent BB! Warm thanks to all who are contributing.

To Hatim:

I'm still trying to understand Wi-LAN's business model. Here are some questions that may be of interest:

1. Will Wi-LAN be able to get any patent protection, say for W-OFDM improvements, outside North America?

2. Do you see Wi-LAN developing primarily as an IP licensing company, or a manufacturer of products?

3. What value is PHG getting from Wi-LAN for its non-North American markets? Is it anything in addition to expertise and trade secrets?

4. When you say that Wi-LAN does not intend to go after the LAN market - do you mean only that it will not attempt to market products in that market, but will license technology to players there?

5. Finally, with respect to business model - are you familiar with the British company Arm Holdings (NASDAQ: ARMHY, LSE:ARM) - and how similar is, or will be, your business model to theirs?

Your willingness to "invest in your investors" is deeply appreciated!

With best regards - Bernard Super
