Have you been following with the story of Maurice Papon running away from France to Gstaad!! gg I think the whole think is shameful. I don't care if the man dies if a French prison, becasue the Jews who he signed away all died in the camps and couldn't scape to a resort hotel in Gstaad!
However, Mr.Clarsfeld attempts to get Papon convicted is not good for the memeory of the dead Jews. Here, if we wanted justice, we had to get every Frenchman that served the Vichey convicted!! That was not possible, so, we should have not tag on to Maurce Papon. In abstarct his conviction is o.k., but in contest, I means not much! This is as a meaningles victory as trying to get back billions of dollars
from the Swiss bankers. We didn't need the money, we needed
to put the history right!
A friend of mine, Dr, Steven Ambrose once told me, it is
our moral responsibility to get the histroy written and re-written until we get it right. With the Swiss we did. So, the money only cheapend the memeory of our dead!

with Baron Ungaren-Sternberg who wants you sent back to
