I'm certainly no master, but when I managed my tiny little private hedge fund, I was training a guy to trade. I found out that he had a tendency to hide his losses and then take long shots (wrote naked calls) to try and recoup his losses. Needless to say, those sorts of things catch up to you. Remember Barrons' Bank a few years back? That is probably what happened there and then the lack of good oversight allowed it to snowball into the disaster we all read about. Matt
