COMPANIES vs. STOCKS IMHO that one should not lose sight of the fact that Gilder and the GTR generally discuss and recommend for people's attention *companies, their concepts, their capabilities and their convergence with the real world, the future and the Telecosm. Although such might be inferred by some from his mentions of the companies, IMHO (and I believe he has made it clear, and continues to make it clear) that he neither recommends stocks* nor the timing of investments. I believe that looking too exclusively at stock prices as a means of judging the value of his contributions might not take the above into enough consideration. Steve
