$3.35 million Q3 Total revenues

This is a tough call. Messagemedia has the three top internet sites on their client list (AOL, Microsoft, Yahoo!) #reply-11652188 but very little earnings history. The combined performance of MessageMedia, Epub, Dbits, Revnet Systems and Decisive Technology since 1996 comes in at about 200% annual growth and projects $17.7 million total revenues for 1999 #reply-11520493. However, things are not that simple. Messagemedia will only account for 1-1/2 months of revenues from Revnet and Decisive this quarter. Then there's the integration of Revnet and Decisive which probably slowed things down -- at least it appeared to reduce the number of new contracts announced in Q3.

Because Q3 was essentially a full contract quarter with Yahoo and Reader's Digest, plus maybe a little something from Cisco, I'll guess that Messagemedia doubled their Q2 revenues of 1.3 million. However, I could be way under on Yahoo!s contribution to Messagemedia's earnings #reply-11536367.

$2.6 million from Messagemedia

That's Messagemedia's contribution to revenues, now for the contribution from Revnet and Decisive. The first 6 mo revenue from Revnet & Decisive in 1999 were about $3.0 million. Considering Messagemedia will include only 1-1/2 months revenues from them in the Q3 I'll guess their contribution will be about 1/4 of $3 million. I'm assuming no growth in revenues from these two companies because of their integration into Messagemedia, but I'm also assuming they didn't loose any business.

$0.75 million from Revnet and Decisive.

$3.35 million = $2.6 + $0.75

There you have it, a conservative estimate from a conservative guy. Had Messagemedia been able to report a full quarter from Revnet and Decisive I would have come in around $3.5 to $3.8 million.
