Dear truedog, Thank you for sharing about my exhausted dog. Maybe we should start a thread for "Christians that have a life". I know He is there for our hourly need and our relationship is to be in constant communication with him. <<Even though Jesus is our Lord and Savior, He never tried to lord it over us as some humans attempt to do>> Matthew 11:29 29: Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. This is so true. This was one of the few times he described himself and did he not say to his disciples, Matthew 20: 25: But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26: But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27: And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. So your dander is correct in getting fluffed up, for our Lord is gentle and humble of heart and wants all people to feel they can come to him for their hourly need. Have a blessed Sunday, Nancy |
