Jenne, I use www.bigcharts.com and ask for several months of daily quotes with daily stochastic indicator (fast, slow) the fast/slow crossover happened on Wednesday with a solid followthru happening on Thursday... perhaps we are looking at different #days in the calculation. mine says "slow stochastics (5,5)" what does Jim Willie think? or is he still on vacation? the inconsistency that strikes me is that a breakout happened on Thursday afternoon about an hour after Jim Willie sent in a "stochastic crossover alert".. the close was 215+ that day on a 7-pt rise.. I saw the crossover with Wednesday's data incorporated in my chart your supplied definition of stochastic indicator is what I have come to know and rely upon I hope you are right since I still hold a small number of Nov 210 calls.. looking for a slight run myself.. sold most of them at 223-224 on Friday, wishing at the close to have dismissed the entire lot please teach me how to link I am rather new to this PC with my rough fingers.. more familiar with band saws, drill presses, doweling jigs, lathes, and such thanks, Carpenter
