A news release posted today confirms that Echo Bay has decided to Joint Venture with Fairmile rather than spend any cash reserves on any additional exploration on its current leases. The Fairmile site provides 0ver 600,000 au. in current proven reserves for Echo Bay and the opportunity to shore up its own dwindling reserves.

Its a good deal for all of the share holders in Fairmile and Echo Bay. The site is close to some major finds and could host multi-million oz. of gold. It is low grade ore but can be open pit mined and milled at the current Echo Bay site.

The Bre-x effect could help us all by allowing the "experts" to recalculate the worlds gold supply and the price could be back to the 400.00 range by this summer.

Here's to a better year!
