to all following TEK. Tektronix is a leader in digital TV test and mixing equipment. they also have a division (lightworks)that makes the stuff a lot of the special effects and computer mixing is done on for movies like "independence day". They make one of the best color (wax process ) printers.. Just sold Kinkos one per store for high def. color printing. and they still are an industry leader in all types of test equipment for digital cable etc. they have had trouble defining their future direction but seem to have it well in hand know. Tek has Just commited 2 million dollars to getting their name out to the public ie. credits on movies ,adds for printers etc. All in all a good sound (if little known) company (wife is Tek corp. training mgr)
