Hi John, 1st, thx for the response, especially when probably you ve gone thru this a number of times already.

The reason I asked the question is that while the verbiage for Prefer D and F are somewhat different from the typical floorless, like "ten days closing ave prior to conversion," but they [Qtly reset and trailing reset] don't seem to be inhibiting factors against convertible holders to keep shorting the stock [which is the idea of a floorless.] The floorless bandits a lot of time don't bother to convert [rightaway] as long as they hold the convertibles, which are essentially their trump cards. Instead, they may use the pump'n dump to milk the company before the endgame is near

Maybe I will understand more if you will elaborate your insight

This explains why it is in the best interest of a short position holder who holds convertible shares to maintain their position for at least ten days following a conversion period.

Again, from the way you ve responded, probably you ve gone thru this already, but maybe it helps to work thru this again to convince the skeptics. Thanks again

best, Bosco
