Be careful and watch the accounting when they actually make the change. When Jack White was bought by Waterhouse, when they did the change of accounting, they funneled all my trades into the house account for a week and after 45 days when I got margin calls, I went to find out why an account wiht no margin loan on it has calls. I found they had put all my money away and then charged me with a loan. This was not small change, well over $100k. they have not, to this date, paid me back for the interest on the money they held and used. They have tried a few tiems to stick me with the margin interest, however.

I had heard that Waterhouse was now being run by an outside accounting firm and was under NYSE scrutiny, but it still does no good for getting my money back. They still to this day claim they have done nothing wrong.

take care!
