The size of Zmax has been an issue here and on the old Fool board since last year. Thought I would share some information I just recently picked which (I think) answers the question and buries the issue.
CSI has under 30 employees at their headquarters. But they also have 200 programmers trained and available for assignment under an agreement with III (a large consultant). I did'nt realize how expansive this agreement was until recently. III ("three i") is required to keep 100 programmers on call to Zmax no matter how many programmers Zmax is already utilizing, whether the number is 200 or 2,000 (and iii has a pool of several thousand to draw on). This agreement is also exclusive to Zmax.

The III/Zmax relationship is open ended because III expects Zmax's tools to be adapted for use in the conversion to a single currency in Europe. This will provide continued expansion well past the year 2000.

Pretty strong argument in favor of Zmax. I am not aware of any other Y2k companies (including Zitel) with this type of ability to quickly add capacity.
