Jan, re:more on red flag...

Hi Jan,

I have examined the link you gave me and I am still not convinced that it is a red flag.

It *might* be a red flag.

However, James Bidzos of Verisign, the Director, sold over 2 million shares since August 1998. Is this a red flag too? I don't think so.

Not to me. It requires investigation, don't you think?

I don't think the company is in danger...Verisign appears to me the de-facto leader in internet security certificates.

It seems stock sales have become carte-blanche suspicious. We need more information to determine if an insider was selling their shares because they were not confident in the company. Do you know if the person you referenced was continually getting options as a part of their employment package? I don't, and wouldn't that kind of information be valuable in determining this persons motivation for selling shares?

If you have some insight or knowledge into this persons compensation package and/or can provide an accurate template for evaluating fishy stock sales, I would really like to learn what it is.

Thank you and I look forward to continuing our discussion.

Jon :)
