CDMA vs ANALOG Output:

It's even better than the 1/3rd power reported. The 1/3rd figure is the max output during a transmission. The Analog phone transmits constantly when a channel (phone call) is established. The CDMA phone, transmits bursts of data, only when necessary during the conversation.

20/20 - They were very careful to report "legally". They went out of their way to mention on many occasions that they just tested Analog phones. Covers them from the legal perspective, but not the journalistic one.

Why do you suppose that they did not even mention digital phones, when they outsell analog models today to the tune of 4 to 1? I think the reason they left out this VERY SIGNIFICANT detail, is that it would have ruined their story, and not caused panic in the 80 Million mobile phone users in the US.
