In researching AVAR I came across a similar stock called Wolds.com About the same time that AVAR announced their deal with Scottish Telcom., Worlds.com announced a deal with Freeserve to be the official Internet 3-D chat content provider on the Freeserve ISP.

I'm not sure which deal was in the works first, but I definitely believe that one spawned the other. Scottish Telcom and Freeserve represent UK's biggest ISP's. I don't think it was a coincidence that both ISP's announced 3D chat capability within a couple of days of each other.

Obviously there is some future in this 3-D chat if one of these Companies felt threatened enough by the other to go out and find their own virtual world technology to bundle with their services.

Both Companies (Freeserve and Scottish Tel) distribute their software on a free CD (much like AOL) and both virtual world technologies will be present on these CD's. ScottishTelecom plans to distribute the V-Zone access software to more than five million customers as part of its ``in2home' free ISP CD. Freeserve is available on a free CD in all Dixons, Currys, PC World, the Link, and @jakarta stores in the UK and is primarily intended for home users and small office/home business users.
