Jill,

I know you asked Unc Frank, Stan, but this guy doesn't wash with me (the GMST poster). The whole idea of gorilla game is that once a company has established itself, standards are set, and they have the enabling technology, nobody can work fast enough to compete. I just get the feeling he's trying to stir up a bit of doubt or trouble.

Direwolf was responding to a post I made concerning TV Guide's margins. His post appears somewhat defensive because I expressed some concerns about the acquisition that I have heard so to air them out. To his defense, he is one of the more knowledgeable people I have known concerning cable. He and a few others have given much of their valuable time to bring me up to speed on heretofore unfamiliar investment concepts. (However slow that is proving to be.) I could go on to say more but not at the expense of his desire to remain anonymous.

He chose to exemplify QCOM because he knows that it is my other holding and his appreciation of my IP based investing as expressed in phone conversations. Just responding because it is not his MO to stir trouble as it may have appeared.

Regards
Stew
