Frank,

Nice to be back. Thanks for the warm welcome. Now let's get on with our continuing disagreement. :)

Imo, [i2] is a Godzilla rather than a Gorilla candidate.

i2's proprietary supply-chain software architecture is comparable in gorilla-gaming criteria to any other proprietary software. My thinking is that they are clearly in the hunt for gorilladom, not godzilladom.

On a similar subject, this brings up the point that this hgih-tech stuff is really tough for the non-tech people such as me. I've read everything (well, not everything:) I can find about EMC's software and it seems to fit the bill for proprietary architecture. Yet virtually everyone I greatly respect in this folder says it ain't so, that EMC is without any question playing a royalty game.

So if you'll excuse me for thinking EMC is a gorilla, I'll excuse you for thinking i2 is looking to be the head godzilla. :)
