To all:

Does anyone have any idea about what potential revenue exists if software (like a browser) is part of the package when an OEM sells its computers?

(For instance, my latest Dell came with MacAfee Virus Shield, among many other pieces of software - what does MacAfee get out of this? a penny?, 10 cents? (too low) , one dollar? (maybe), ten dollars? (I hope so, but I doubt it), etc.) I don't even have a frame of reference if a big deal were to be announced, and am just curious how we should start to think about the reality of the situation if the product takes off. Any thoughts welcome (I'll monitor Raging Bull as well, though I don't post there).

Thanks in advance.

(Tomorrow could be a great day!)
