I'm not sufficiently knowledgeable about fiber optics to be able to say much of value about one company's advantages over another, but I've always considered JDSU to be the technical leader in the field. And with a price/sales ratio of 40 compared to ORTL's 5, I'd say that they better have a commanding technological lead.

Can you shed more light on this issue?
