OT: Margin account maintenance requirements...

Investors continue to display a lack of fear and the "buy on credit" mania -- the margin debt
-- has zoomed to a new high.

My on-line broker recently raised the margin maintenance requirement for QCOM shares from 35% equity to 50% equity. (This is a real blow to my long term strategy of accumulating QCOM shares.)

Any suggestions for brokers which allow lower equity levels for maintenance of margined QCOM shares?
