Hello engineer,

I don't mean to start any arguments, but I have been with Waterhouse for a few years now and have NOT had any of the problems that I have seen mentioned here in the last several posts. I use their webbroker and everyone of my trades has always gone off at $12. I also had another account with Edward Jones that had several unit trusts that I transferred to WH when I closed the account. When I inquired what the commission would be to sell said trusts since they were not originally purchased thru WH they indicated it would be $35 per trust. When I actually did sell them, my commission was zippo.

I also go to my local branch and have placed trades there and they give me the $12 webbroker commission there also. One time and one time only, on a trade at their local branch, was I charged the wrong commission and they called me the next day and rectified it before I even got my confirmation.

Sorry that you have had the problems you have had, but I haven't, although I will watch closely to make sure nothing changes.

Joel
