Report: Senators sign free agent Juneau

OTTAWA - The Senators signed unrestricted free agent center Joe Juneau
to a two-year deal worth $4.4 million, according to the Ottawa Sun. Juneau, 31, had 15 goals and 43 points in 72 games with the Capitals and Sabres last season. Washington dealt him at the trade deadline for defenseman Alexei Tezikov and the Sabres chose not to re-sign him during the summer.
Juneau's signing comes one day after the Senators announced left wing
Daniel Alfredsson will be out 8 to 10 weeks with a torn MCL in his left knee.
