Electronic Buyers' News via Individual Inc. : Cleveland-based
Pioneer-Standard Electronics Inc. last week announced that it is
distributing Skokie, Ill.-based U.S. Robotics' end-to-end line of
remote- access products, enterprise communications systems,
desktop/mobile client products, and modems.
Many of these products feature U.S. Robotics' x2 technology, a
software upgrade that allows users to download information from the
Internet, corporate networks, or other online information sources
nearly twice as fast as standard V.34 modems over regular phone
lines.
