Ike and all: Austrian banks (Austria is in the Euro zone) have raised rates on Friday...Otmar Issing, chief economist of the ECB has today given a VERY hawkish interview, stating the ECB 'doesn't need fresh economic data to make the case for raising rates. inflation risks are to the upside'...in other words, rate hike at the next meeting.
